Crawley Council Plans Second Passivhaus Housing Project

As Crawley Borough Council’s first affordable Passivhaus housing project – Gales Place, Crawley – nears completion, the Council has confirmed its commitment to Passivhaus by agreeing to build a second scheme to the Certified Passivhaus Standard.

The Tooley & Foster Partnership are architects for Gales Place and Accredited Passivhaus Design is providing Passivhaus Consultancy and PHPP modelling. TFP and APD are also working on the new development: Dobbins Place, Ifield, Crawley.

Dobbins Place will consist of four houses and two flats, all with two bedrooms. The development will overlook a local pond and green space.

The scheme should be submitted for planning approval at the end of February 2017.
