In December 2020 the first factory made building modules for the Foleshill Health Centre were fitted on site. The whole building will finish in March 2021 to give local residents a new energy efficient and comfortable place to visit their doctor. With continuous filtered fresh air it will also be a healthy place to visit and work in. Accredited Passivhaus Designers /Tooley Foster are both architects and Passivhaus Designers for this project.
The four bedroom houses on Northbrook Road were certified in 2019 by the Passivhaus Institut in Germany, and have been built with a factory built insulated and part finished timber frame that was craned into position. Gales Place is Crawley Borough Council’s first development to be certified to the Passivhaus Standard and a second one is to follow.
